After the welcome on the day of arrival and a round of introductions, we went on a tour of the Trostberg location. During this tour, the first exchange between the locations began, so that the planned time frame was well exceeded.
On May 25, 2023, the program included an exchange of experiences about the points previously worked out in an agenda. It started with a general presentation of the Trostberg technology with a detailed presentation of GOS3.
Below is a small excerpt from the topics:
• Project management or organization
• Handling EMSR projects with programming
• Projects with a focus on technical improvement
• Securing loads when loading rollers, rotors and engines
• Determination of software changes during operation
• Dealing with safety PLCs
• Charging stations and PV system
• Experience with pneumatic scraper drives in the screen and press section
• Experience of operating preheating rollers without shrinkage screens
• IH software. Which software is used and how is the software used?
• Maintenance and service contracts with Siemens-Energy at the other locations
• External personnel during standstills
• Downtime management
• Allocation of various costs to maintenance
All three plants want to renew the railway inspection system in 2024. Intensive cooperation was agreed here.
In the afternoon, department-specific tours (mechanics/EMSR) were carried out. Some concrete technical problems were discussed here and common solutions were discussed.
Unfortunately there was not enough time to adequately discuss all topics, so the exchange of experiences will be repeated next year.
