Waste acceptance
The acceptance of substitute fuels is only possible on the basis of a valid waste management contract with Hamburger Rieger GmbH, business unit power station and requires a valid approval under waste management legislation. There can be no unloading of vehicles without prior notification. Vehicle street unloading with prior notification for pickups and flat-bed trucks via walking floor, large tipper and container vehicles (unloading via rear end).

Acceptance conditions of the EBS heating plant
For acceptance and treatment in the facility, the substitute fuel must fulfil the following requirements:
Bulk
- Granulation: 0-800mm
- Bulk density: von 150kg/m³ bis 800kg/m³
- Consistency: solid; free liquid not permitted
Transportable baled goods
- Edge length: max. 800mm
- Edge length (a+b+c): ≤ 1.500 mm
- Excess lengths: not permitted
- Small particles: ≤ 10Ma%

The substitute fuels must not contain any hazardous waste (in particular hazardous waste in the sense of the AVV).
The accepted waste also complies with the restrictions imposed by the “Threshold values for damaging contents in the original substance” – Appendix IV table 1 of the Vollzugshinweise zur Zuordnung von Abfällen zu den Abfallarten eines Spiegeleintrages (Implementation notes on the classification of waste into types of waste of a mirror entry – Brandenburg – of 12 February 2007 (ABl. No. 9 of 07.04.2007 p.476).
